We have moved!!!!!
After establishing in 2012 in a Geelong home kitchen, Sweet Things by Caroline has recently relocated to Ballarat! Why you ask? Well, over the past five years this little business has grown – to the point that the house was beginning to feel more like a chocolate factory than a house! With the introduction of decorated biscuits to the range, it’s grown even more, and it is time to move to a property that has a dedicated business kitchen. Initially, production will still take place in a registered home kitchen, situated in the surrounds of the tranquil Yarrowee River, while a purpose designed studio kitchen is created!!!! While the business is now located in Ballarat, this won’t in any way change supply to Geelong customers, as regular Geelong deliveries will be made (so you can still place orders for local Geelong pick-up). Of course for Melbourne, regional Victoria, and interstate customers, the change in location will not impact on your orders at all – except for Ballarat of course, as you will now be able to place orders for local Ballarat pick-up!!! Thanks for your support as this little business continues to grow. Sweet Regards, Caroline
The final Piccadilly Market at Deakin University for the year is just around the corner - and it's our last market for the year too! Be sure to come on down and get your Christmas shopping finished (or started!!) at this gorgeous event, filled with beautiful hand crafted products from artisan producers. There's a licensed bar there too, and food available all day from Waterfront Kitchen.

Ride for Jase
The Lava Street Social Club, in conjunction with Sweet Things by Caroline are having a Hot Chocolate Spoon drive to support Ben and his crew in their Ride for Jase; a fundraising campaign for the Black Dog Institute. They are undertaking a cycling journey of 18,000 kilometres in a bid to raise money and awareness for the cause of roughly 3027 deaths in Australia every year; suicide. Funds raised will go towards suicide prevention programs and mental health education in schools and community based settings.
One way of showing your support for this worthwhile cause is to purchase Hot Chocolate Spoons. Simply enter promo code RIDEFORJASE at checkout, and $1 from the price of each spoon purchased between 09/08/17 and 31/08/17 will be donated to the Ride For Jase fundraising campaign. Follow the journey at rideforjase.org or on Facebook.

Raise Funds for River's Gift
By purchasing these chocolates, you are donating much-needed funds to River’s Gift, the leading non-government SIDS research funding organisation in Australia, that directs its funds directly into research into a cure. Rivers Gift’s primary objective is to fund world leading SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) Research and make a formidable contribution to the discovery of a cure for this heartbreaking loss of life. SIDS claims approximately 80 babies a year in Australia alone. That is 80 families devastated by the loss of their precious baby, with no answers as to why this might have occurred.
